A ban on purchasing sex helps no one, but harms all prostitutes and customers. The BesD fights for safe working conditions and the preservation of our rights. Please help us with your donation! What is it about? More and more politicians are calling for the purchase of sex to be banned. This would allow sex workers to continue working, but customers would be liable to prosecution. This also means that brothels, whorehouses and studios have to close. Secure jobs are being lost. Apartment prostitution is also becoming impossible because landlords are committing a criminal offense if sex workers meet customers in their apartments. Ad sites like this one need to close. The result: sex work will shift into secret. This harms everyone – and especially the people who need help. Because counseling centers can no longer reach those affected. But the decision has not yet been made in Germany. What can you do about it? BesD e.V. is the largest professional association for erotic and sexual service providers in Europe.
